Martin Erdmann's vision for a restoration of the Reformed faith in Germany is one that I whole-heartedly share and endorse. It is tragic that the gospel of God's free grace in Christ is not only largely unknown in Martin Luther's land, but also actively opposed by many Protestant churches there. The task is daunting, even 'impossible' in human terms. But with God all things are possible and he is jealous of his glory, which we seek to promote over against the presumptions of man-made religion. I therefore commend Martin's ministry to all who desire to honour Christ by declaring his sovereignty in salvation and his glory in the church. The purpose of this ministry is to make Christ known through teaching sound reformed doctrine to all who are willing to learn. We trust and believe that such 'hearers of the Word' will include some who are already in the pastoral ministry, Bible students, potential lay leaders, and others. I guarantee that any who attend the seminars directed by Dr Erdmann will learn, not human philosophy, but biblical truth ... truth that under God's providence can transform the church in the German-speaking world.
